Jessica Gallo is a Certified Music Practitioner using the harp to bring comfort to patients in healthcare settings. The songs on Away are original compositions inspired by specific bedside patient sessions. Jessica’s therapeutic music was the subject of an Experience Based Design survey conducted at Virginia Mason hospital where the responses showed a dramatic increase in feelings of comfort and peace after experiencing a therapeutic music session. This album is a tribute to the bravery and beauty of the many patients Jessica has interacted with.
